
Our classes are designed to allow anyone to join in at anytime. No need to wait for a new session to start. We want to be sure that you are where you want to belong, so your first class is always free of donation. Staff Members or Instructors can direct you to a suitable choice.

BALLROOM DANCE
An evening class that’s open to all age groups who love the classic styles. Carol Gilbo, instructor, will use two hours to glide you through American, Latin and Swing dance. Competitions here we come!
LINE DANCE
BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED
George Wisniewski keeps heels kickin' and bodies turning with this upbeat
form of dance and he even talks you through every move. Easy to catch
on and no partners needed. New members should give it a try.
TAP CLASS
We have Beginner, Advanced and a new Tapping from the Chair. These folks sure love their kick line. Under the direction of Lea Bodine, this group performed after a mere6 weeks of training and looked great! Don't be intimidated, though. Lea's persistence has them memorizing every step while the class has lots of fun. And, it includes the guys, too!
TOTAL FITNESS
Total body workout, using weights, bands, and resistance support. Sue Ehrhardt, formerly of Health Place has made Mercy Hilltop Center home for her class meeting 3 times per week. She offers beginning and intermediate workouts.JUST FOR JOCKS
Yes, gentlemen, this one's just for you. Sue also takes control of the guys for a healthy workout. A great cardio and stretch class.TENNIS
Is offered through Penn Briarand meets once or twice a week. If you're a tennis buff, and like to play doubles, give the Center a call and we'd LOVE to POINT you in the right direction. We'll even MATCH you up.AEROBICS
Meets twice a week, but available to those that can only fit one class into their schedule. This group, led by Dianne Dale, has enjoyed themselves for years now and welcome new participants. This is a medium level of exertion that stimulates the body for more energy.YOGA
An ancient form of body therapy is vastly popular as it cleanses the inside as well as conditions the outside. It is relaxing and meditative. Lea Bodine is an excellent teacher.BILLIARDS/SHUFFLE BOARD
Readily available for practicing up or good old fashioned competition.

DIANNA DALE:
Instructor for our "Aerobics Class" gives
a moderate workout for anyone that likes to move to the music and tone
up at the same time. Classes are held twice a week, Tuesday's and Thursdays
from 3 until 4 pm. Their camaraderie even goes beyond these walls as
they might enjoy an occasional lunch or movie together! LEA BODINE:
This lady is a master at the ancient art of "Yoga". Inner strength and relaxation exercises for the mind as well as the body, it is a controlled art, which offers endless benefits Lea, offers this relaxing class on Wednesdays at 12:45. She also is our resident "Tap" teacher. These girls (and guys) kick up their heels for a good time and great performances. They get a work out and still dance their hearts out. Formerly of the Health Place sponsored by HighMark, Sue has made the Mercy Hilltop Center home for her certified classes in Strength Training. She serves beginners and the advanced with a good workout including bands and weights, mats and foam cubes for all over exercise.She has the following specialty classes :
"Strength Training" - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
"Just for Jocks", Mondays and Wednesdays, and Fridays
"Stretch n' Flex", Wednesdays and Fridays

Have a partner and love the sweeping movement of a tango or waltz? Then "Ballroom Dance" is here for you. Even though this class is designated for couples, we can arrange a dance partner for you! Great for stretching and flexibility, Carol's troupe meets on Tuesdays at 9:30 am.GEORGE WISNIEWSKI:
Our expert "Line Dance" instructor draws quite a crowd. You definitely leave the class with a smile on your face as you experience movement with music for a dance workout. The gently glide gets the heart pumping for conditioning. If you love to dance, but, find yourself solo, this is the answer. Wednesdays and Thursdays are set aside for the moving art of line dance.

QUILTING
We continue to be amazed at what comes out of this class. This fine art of sewing is still alive and thriving at MCA Fine tuned instruction by Judy Hines leads to beautiful creations for wall and bed. Supplies, including a portable machine, are the responsibility of the student.BEGINNING ART

For the intermediate to well seasoned artist, different mediums are explored and encouraged. The freedom of expression is gently nudged along so that your experiences are expanded and results are worthy of showing. A group of volunteers that gather together and create beautiful lap Afghans, mittens, hats, scarves, and slippers for those who may be cold during the Erie winters. They work hand-in-hand with GECAC who distributes these handiwork around the community .
ROSARY MAKING
Ken Zacherl has a special ministry going by having a group assemble rosaries that are sent all over the world. It's a very relaxing activity that offers thousands of beads to those who need them.EMBROIDERY
Such an artistry this needlework offers. It's a renewed pastime that allows you to embellish almost anything with colorful stitchery. The class meets bimonthly to work under the instruction of an expert from the Embroidery Guild of America. She can start you from scratch.
Investment Club
A unique group gathers together to make educated guesses in the stock market. Have fun and make money at the same time. Participants pay a monthly fee and share their stock wisdom.Mercy Hilltop Center Chorale
Love to sing? Then just show up. No prima donnas in this group, only those who can blend a tune. No auditions, just willingness to participate and have a good time. This group travels to different sites to perform and lift spirits through music. Wednesdays are rehearsals with Diane Giannelli directing.Specialty Classes
